Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.  At minimum Associate's Degree in Business Information systems/Computer Science preferred.
Experience: Minimum four (4) years network administration experience required.  Experience with network and firewall management desirable.  One to two (1-2) years experience with Fiserv basic products.  Training or on-the-job experience in computer operations.

Certifications desired:  vSphere and other virtual computer environment related, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Project +, Cisco Certifications

Qualifications:  
Position Summary: Federal Trust Bank is currently seeking an IT-3 professional to be based out of our Sanford Headquarters.

The position is responsible for network administration at a Tier III technical support level. Diagnoses server outages and resolves network bottlenecks. Functions as the project manager for installation and improvements of existing systems. Manages the day to day operations of the IT department. Functions as liaison between the Bank and its IT vendors. Serves as backup to the IT- 2. Performs special projects as assigned.

Essential Duties
for the Position:

Duties of the position include:
- VM Cluster Management
- Managing File Server Systems
- Handling back-up process and system back-up management

Requirements:
  1. At minimum an Associate's Degree in Business Information Systems/Computer Science preferred.
  2. Minimum of four (4) years network administration experience required. Experience with network and firewall management desirable.
  3. One to two (1-2) yrs experience with FISERV basic products
  4.  Strong knowledge of workstation and MS Office
  5.  Advanced understanding of LAN and IP protocols, file and print sharing
  6.  Strong knowledge of Active Directory Administration, messaging, security through Group Policy, backups and Anti-Virus
  7.  Strong knowledge of infrastructure servers (DHCP, DNS, WINS)
  8.  Must be able to build and configure servers on the latest versions of VM Ware and Windows
  9.  Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  10.  Good communication skills and a customer service orientation
  11.  Must be able to do some lifting up to 50 pounds
  12.  Must be able to drive to off-site branch locations
