We describe below our privacy policy regarding any personal information you may supply to us. We will strive to protect your information on the Internet in the same manner that we protect it in all other ways you do business with us. We respect your financial privacy and comply with laws and regulations designed to secure that privacy. Your relationship with us is important and the top priority of our bank is to provide you, our customer, with superior products and services. We want you to understand our policies and practices with regard to handling your information.
About Children's Online Privacy:
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) was passed to give parents increased control over what information is collected from their children online and how such information is used. The law applies to web sites and services directed to, and which knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13. Federal Trust Bank's web sites and online services are not directed to children under the age of 13, nor is information knowingly collected from them. Online Personal Information
When you enroll in online banking, you will be asked for personal information. Federal Trust Bank and the online service provider will have access to your personal information. This information may be retained by Federal Trust Bank and the online service provider. Also, in order to respond to any e-mail you send us, we will retain the content of your e-mail and e-mail address.

Information About You
We may routinely collect or retain information that includes:
- Name, address, telephone number, social security number, annual income, current and past employers
- Answers to questions on deposit and loan applications
- Deposit and loan balances, overdraft history and payment history
We obtain this information in a number of ways (for example, directly from your applications, your transactions with us and from credit bureaus and other third parties). In order to better serve you, we may also retain information about the types of products and services you have with us, so we can learn about your financial needs and interests. We may share this information with others to the extent permitted by law and in accordance with our information sharing policies and practices.
Safeguarding Information About You
Information that we have about you is available to our employees and agents on a "need to know" basis, so they can do their jobs. We prohibit our employees and agents from giving information about you to anyone in a manner that would violate any applicable law or our privacy policy. We do not provide information about you to anyone without first verifying who they are and whether they may have legal access to the information. We train our employees to protect information we have about you. We also have a disaster preparedness program to secure this information in case of natural disasters, hazards or threats.
However, your customer information can be protected by Federal Trust Bank only to the extent that you, the customer, do not give your password to any other person or persons, which in turn gives them access to your information.
Account Numbers/Access Codes
We will not disclose your account number or access code for a credit card account, deposit account or transaction account to a non-affiliated third party in order for them to sell you products and services. We may give your account number or access code to consumer reporting agencies because we are allowed or required to do so by law.

Information Sharing - Affiliates
We share information with affiliates and subsidiaries in order to offer you additional products and services. Subsidiaries are companies we own or control. Affiliates are other companies that are commonly owned or controlled by our parent holding company. Information about you may be obtained from companies outside our affiliates. We may share this "other information" among our affiliates.
Information Sharing - Non-Affiliates
We may share information about you with non-agent, non-affiliated companies that are our agents. We do this to provide convenient access to products or services, or because these companies help us perform necessary business functions or services. This sharing is permitted by law. Such agents are required to keep confidential any information about you that we give them.
Your Opt-Out Rights
You may "opt-out" of: (1) Our sharing of "other information" about you with our affiliates under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act; and (2) our sharing of information about you with non-agent, non-affiliated companies and persons. You may opt-out of all or some of this information sharing at any time.
To opt out send your signed request informing us to stop sharing the information indicated. Once your signed statement is received, we have a reasonable amount of time to stop the information sharing. To revoke your opt-out, send your signed statement saying you will permit us to share the information indicated.

Accurate Information
We seek to ensure that a customer's financial information is accurate, current and complete. We have procedures in place to respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner. If you have any reason to believe that your personal information is incorrect, please contact us.
Ending Customer Relationship
In the event you end your customer relationship with us, or if we end our customer relationship with you, we will treat the information we have about you as if you were still our customer.
